Account Deletion and Data Removal

1. Account Deletion:
You have the right to delete your account from our mobile app at any time. This action can typically be performed through the settings or account management section of the Neomaxer app. However, if you have an active order, you may not be able to add any products to your cart and will not be able to cancel and order any product, you will also not be allowed a refund. For deleting your account you will have to select your profile and go to the bottom of your account page and select Delete account and select the checkbox and select “Yes”.

2. Account Re-activation:
For reactivating your account, please login to the Neomaxer app, and you will be asked to activate to proceed. Select “Yes” to proceed with activation. You will then be asked to Sign up again with your mobile number and OTP.

3. Data Removal:
Upon account deletion, we will promptly remove all personal information associated with your account from our active databases. This includes your name, email address, and any other personally identifiable information.

4. Retention of Non-Personal Data:
We may retain non-personal data that does not identify you individually, for statistical analysis or other legitimate business purposes.

5. Backup Copies:
Please note that deleted information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable time around 90 days before being permanently deleted. The]’se backups are maintained for disaster recovery and archival purposes.

6. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of any content or data you submit or upload to the app. We do not claim ownership of your data, but we require certain rights to use and display it as necessary for the operation of the Neomaxer app

7. Exceptions:
Certain legal obligations, such as compliance with regulatory requirements or to prevent fraud, may necessitate the retention of certain information even after account deletion.

8. Notification:
We will notify you through the app or via email once your account deletion request has been processed, confirming the removal of your personal information.

DATA RETENTION POLICY

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

This Data Retention Policy is an integral part of the Privacy Policy of NeoMaxer Fintech Private Limited ("the Company"). It outlines the principles and guidelines for retaining the personal data collected from users of the Company's mobile and desktop applications, websites, and other digital products and services (collectively referred to as the "Services"). This policy is designed to ensure that the Company complies with its legal obligations under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other relevant laws and regulations concerning data retention.

1. That the Company retains personal data for the sole purpose of fulfilling its legal obligations, providing its Services to users, and for other legitimate business purposes as outlined in this Privacy Policy

2. That the types of personal data collected by the Company include, but are not limited to, Registration Information, Profile Verification Information, Purchases Information, Geolocation Information, Device and Photos Information, and any other data as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. That personal data shall be retained for as long as necessary to provide the Services to the user, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The specific retention period for different types of personal data may vary depending on the nature of the data and the purpose for which it was collected.

That, in general, user account information will be retained for a period of 180 days post account deletion to allow for account recovery in the event of accidental deletion or user request. After this period, the information will be permanently deleted from our systems unless there is a legal obligation to retain it for a longer period.

4. That the Company will retain and use personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable tax/revenue laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

5. That upon the expiry of the data retention period, or upon a user's request for data deletion in accordance with their rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Company will ensure that the personal data is deleted in a manner that the information cannot be reconstructed or read.

6. That the Company employs reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access to, or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. This includes internal reviews of our data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures.

7. That this Data Retention Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or advances in technology. Users will be notified of any significant changes to this policy as required by law.

This Data Retention Policy is effective as of July 4, 2024, and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page
